2. What Data We Collect and Why

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Cat Solitaire stores the following data exclusively on your device using your operating system's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party:

• Game settings (draw count, sound preferences, display preferences)
• Game statistics (games played, wins, streaks, best times)
• Achievement and player level progress
• Treat balance (if you are not signed in; if signed in, this is also synced to the cloud — see section 2.2)

You can delete all locally stored data at any time via Settings → Reset Progress, or by uninstalling the app.

2.2 Optional Account and Cloud Save (Firebase)

You may optionally create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. This is not required to play the game. Creating an account allows your purchased treat balance to be saved to the cloud and restored if you reinstall the app or switch devices.

When you sign in, the following data is collected and stored:

• Authentication data — a unique user identifier and, depending on your chosen sign-in method, your email address and display name. If you use Sign in with Apple with the "Hide My Email" option, only an Apple-generated private relay email address is stored.
• Purchased treat balance — the number of treats you have purchased, stored in Firebase Firestore to enable cross-device restore.

This data is stored on Google's Firebase infrastructure (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). We do not store your Apple ID or Google account password. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time by contacting us at nyangi.info@gmail.com.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract (restoring purchased content you are entitled to).

2.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect the following data to serve ads:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• IP address (approximate location derived from it)
• Device model, operating system version, and language
• App interaction data (e.g., ad impressions and clicks)

This data is processed by Google LLC. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we obtain your consent before any advertising data is collected, through a consent dialog powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You may withdraw or update your consent at any time via Settings → Privacy Settings.

On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework will ask your permission before your device's advertising identifier is used for tracking across apps and websites. You can change this permission at any time in your iOS Settings.

2.4 Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

The app uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand how players interact with the game. Firebase Analytics collects:

• App usage events (e.g., game started, game won)
• Device model, operating system version, and language
• Session duration and app version

This data is pseudonymous and aggregated — it is not linked to your name or contact details. Data is retained for 14 months by default per Google's policy.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in understanding and improving the game experience.

2.5 In-App Purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment information. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made, in order to unlock the purchased content on your device.

Apple's and Google's own privacy policies govern the processing of your payment data.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with the following third-party service providers solely to operate the app:

• Google LLC — AdMob (advertising), Firebase Analytics (analytics), Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (optional account and cloud save). Google acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Google may be located outside the EEA; transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Apple Inc. — Sign in with Apple (optional authentication), in-app purchase processing (as an independent data controller).
• Google LLC — Google Sign-In (optional authentication), Google Play in-app purchase processing (as an independent data controller).

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — request a copy of the data held about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restriction — request that processing be limited
• Right to data portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw any consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

5. Children

This app is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
